There are two cards called Mulligan Cards. These cards can count as 15 or -5 points according to how they are used. Each Sand Trap Card, In the Rough Card, Water Hazard Card, and Out of Bounds Card counts 10 points. The rest of the deck is made up of 48 cards with numbers from 3 to 8. Each of these cards count as their face value. The score card is similar to a regular golf card. It has score blanks from 1 to 18. You can play either a 9 or 18 hole game depending on how long of a game you wish to play.

Then all four of the cards are placed down in front of them and cannot be looked at again until discarded. The balance of the deck of cards are placed face down in the center of the table. Turn the top card of the deck face up and place it next to the deck; this becomes the discard pile. The player left of the dealer starts by taking a card from either the deck or the discard pile.

The player can look at the card he has drawn. He then must discard one of the cards face down in front of him and replaces it with the card just drawn. He cannot discard the card just drawn but must wait until the play goes around once. The next player can then either draw the card that was discarded or draw from the deck of cards. He has to keep the card he has drawn and discards one of the down cards in front of him (same as above) and so on around all players in turn.

The play continues on around the circle of players until one player thinks he has the lowest score. He then says I PASS before a card is drawn. He cannot draw a card and then say I PASS in that turn. After a player says I PASS then each other player around the circle has one more chance to draw another card if they prefer. Play continues on around the circle back to the player who first said I PASS. All players then show their cards AND ADD UP THE VALUE OF THEIR CARDS. If the deck runs out before a player says I PASS the game is over and the player with the lowest score wins.

FOR A MORE CHALLENGING GAME deal eight cards to each player. (Four cards face down in front of each player which cannot be looked at and four cards the players hold in their hands and can be looked at. AT NO TIME CAN THE FOUR CARDS FACE DOWN IN FRONT OF THE PLAYER BE LOOKED AT. ) The balance of the deck of cards are placed face down in the center of the table. Turn the top card of the deck face up and place it next to the deck; this becomes the discard pile. The player left of the dealer starts by taking a card from either the deck or the discard pile.

The player can look at the card he has drawn and places it with the cards in his hand. He then discards one of the cards face down in front of him without looking at the card he is discarding. He replaces the card he discarded by taking one of the cards from his hand and placing it face down in front of him; thus keeping four cards in his hand and four cards face down in front of him. The play continues on around the circle of players until one of the players thinks he has the lowest score with the cards in his hand and the cards face down combined.

He then says I PASS before a card is drawn. He cannot draw a card and then say I PASS in that turn. If he draws he must wait until play goes around the circle before he can say I PASS. After a player says I PASS then each other player around the circle has one more chance to draw another card if they prefer. Play continues around the circle back to the player who first said I PASS. All players then show their cards and add up the value of their cards. If the deck runs out before a player says I PASS, the game is over and the player with the lowest score wins.

SCORING If the player who says I PASS first has the lowest score, he wins that hand. This player then subtracts 10 points from what his score would be for that hand or hole. If the player who says I PASS first does not have the lowest score (or is tied), he then has to add 10 points to his score for that hole. The player that does have the lowest score then takes 5 points from his score for that hole. If one or more players tie with the player saying I PASS those players subtract 5 points.

The scores are then written in the correct place of each score card. THE MULLIGAN CARD This card has a score of -5 or 15. If you have this card in your hand at the end of a game and you win, you can count it as -5 points. If you have it in your hand at the time another player says I PASS you are stuck with it and if you dont have the lowest score, it will count as 15 points.

If you have a lower score than the player saying I PASS it then counts as -5 points. Order more score cards (or games) by going to www. wackee. com.
